DC to AC Power Supplies and Inverter Circuits

High Power 12 V to 300 V Inverters for High Repeat rate medium Power Strobes: runs on12 V, at up to 6 A, and can fire the tubes at a rate of about 8-10 Times per second. 

Tiny Tiny Inverter Design: little efficient circuit that runs off of3V, and charges up a little1 uf250-Volt cap all the way up in about30 seconds

12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Inverter: This inverter should solve that problem. It takes12 VDC and steps it up to120 VAC. The-Wattage depends on which transistors you use for Q1 and Q2, as well as how "big" a transformer you use for T1. The inverter can be constructed to supply anywhere from1 to1000 (1 KW)-Watts.

It should power lamps, shavers, small stereos and small appliances. If you draw to much power the circuit will shut down all by itself. The output of this circuit is a square wave.

The output voltage is variable from 12.2 Volt to 14.4V so can be set for any device requiring voltage and current in that range.  This PSU uses an LM723 as the regulator, 4 parallel connected outboard pass transistors and has current limiting above 25 amps.... 2 Amp Power Supply -  This handy power supply has an output of 0v to 12v at 700mA with a transformer that is rated at 1-amp (such as M-2155) or 1.4amp for a transformer that is rated at 2-amp (such as M-2156). 

0-28V 6-8A Power Supply (LM317, 2N3055) -  This is an easy to make power supply which has stable, clean and regulator 0-28V 6/8 Amp output voltage. By using two 2N3055 transistors we become more then 2 times the amount of amps then the power supply delivers, making it real though to brake ;). Although you could use this design to deliver 20 amps (with almost no modifications and with a proper transformer and a huge heat sink with a fan), I did not needed such much power. Make sure you mount them on a huge heat sink, as the 2N3055 transistors can get very hot at full load.

0-30 VDC Stabilized power supply with current control 0.002-3 A -  This is a high quality power supply with a continuously variable stabilised output adjustable at any value between 0 and 30VDC. The circuit also incorporates an electronic output current limiter that effectively controls the output current from.

0-30V 20A High Power Supply with LM338 -  This is High current and Adjustable Volt 0 to 30V 20A. It easy circuit and nice circuit, Because use IC LM338 and IC 741. Volt Output adj by VR1-1K. IC LM338 to hold heat-sink. 

300ma DC-to-AC Converter -  This circuit was used to provide battery backup to a device that had an AC (output) wall transformer. Due to  quasi-sine-wave output and imprecise 60Hz output frequency, some devices might not work properly. Peak output is  DC input voltage minus about 20 ohms drop. 40A Power Supply Unit -  Capable of running at full power at 100% duty cycle.

500W low cost 12V to 220V inverter -  Using this circuit you can convert the 12V dc in to the 220V Ac. In this circuit 4047 is use to generate the square wave of 50hz and amplify the current and then amplify the voltage by using the step transformer.

555 DC-AC Inverter -  This DC-to-AC inverter schematic produces an AC output at line frequency and voltage. The 555 is configured as a low-frequency oscillator, tunable over the frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz by Frequency potentiometer R4.  The 555 feeds its output (amplified by Q1 and Q2) to the input of transformer T1, a reverse-connected filament.

6v to 12v Converter -  This inverter circuit can provide up to 800mA of 12V power from a 6V supply. For example, you could run 12V car accessories in a 6V (British?) car. The circuit is simple, about 75% efficient and quite useful. By changing just a few components, you can also modify it for different voltages.
